This page explains the small files and browser storage wildcode.tech uses, and how you control them. We keep it to a minimum.
Essential (always on)
These make the site work and cannot be switched off:
- rt: keeps you signed in to the client portal or admin area. It is only sent to our sign-in service, cannot be read by scripts, and lasts until you sign out or your session expires.
- lang: remembers the language you chose, for up to 1 year.
- cookie-consent-v1 (browser storage): remembers your cookie choices, together with a random ID so we can show what you agreed to. It contains nothing that identifies you.
- banner:… (browser storage): remembers that you closed an announcement, so it stays closed.
Analytics (only with your permission)
If you allow analytics, we may measure how visitors use the site, for example which pages are popular, so we can improve it. We use a privacy-friendly analytics service where we can. Nothing in this category loads until you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.
Marketing (only with your permission)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If that changes, they will stay off unless you allow them.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choices. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser's settings; the site will then ask you again.
