Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Wildcode ("we", "us") collects through wildcode.tech, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to answer you, deliver our services and get paid for them.
Who we are
Wildcode designs and builds custom software for businesses. For anything about your personal information, write to admin@wildcode.tech.
What we collect
- When you contact us (contact form, quote request or consultation booking): your name, email address, and anything else you choose to give us, such as your phone number, company, budget, timeline and project details.
- When you become a client: the details needed to run the project and invoice you, such as billing name and address, tax number, the people on your team who use our client portal, project files, messages and approvals.
- When you use the client portal: your sign-in details (your password is stored only as a one-way hash), security settings such as two-step verification, and a record of sign-ins and important actions, kept for security.
- Automatically: technical information your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
We do not collect special categories of personal data, and our services are not meant for children.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare proposals (steps you asked us to take before a contract).
- To deliver the project, give you access to the client portal and support you afterwards (performing our contract with you).
- To issue invoices, receive payments and keep accounting records (legal obligations).
- To protect our systems and our clients, for example by detecting misuse and keeping security logs (legitimate interests).
- To send you occasional updates, only if you agreed to receive them. Every such email has an unsubscribe link.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:
- Hosting: Microsoft Azure (servers in Singapore), where the website, client portal and database run.
- Email delivery: the service that sends our emails, such as replies, invoices and security codes.
- Payments: the payment provider that processes card or bank payments. We never see or store full card numbers.
- AI-assisted tools, where we use them to help draft or summarise text. We send only what the task needs.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
International transfers
Our servers are in Singapore and some providers operate in other countries. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards the law requires, such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years, then deleted.
- Client and project records: for the length of our relationship and up to 8 years afterwards, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security and audit logs: up to 2 years.
How we protect it
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, sensitive secrets are encrypted at rest, access is limited by role, important actions need a second check, and we keep regular backups. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, or the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your information, unless we must keep it by law;
- stop or limit how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave earlier;
- move your information to another provider.
Write to admin@wildcode.tech and we will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your local data protection authority (in India, the Data Protection Board of India).
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell clients by email.
